Week 9

This week in entrepreneurship I presented my project on the book I was assigned, and it helped me understand how important communication is in business. It was not just about knowing the content, but also about how I explained it to others. I had to organize my ideas clearly and make sure my main points were easy to follow. I also realized that confidence plays a big role when presenting, because it affects how people receive your message. Speaking in front of others can be challenging, but it is an important skill for sharing ideas and convincing people. This experience showed me that being able to present well is a key part of entrepreneurship and networking.

Week 8

This week, from my adult friend Eric, I learned about risk-taking in entrepreneurship. Starting a business always involves some level of risk, whether it is financial, personal, or professional. We were talking about his business that failed called stencil wash. We discussed how entrepreneurs have to make decisions even when there is uncertainty. However, successful entrepreneurs do not take random risks. They research, plan, and calculate the possible outcomes before making a move. I learned that failure is also part of taking risks and can actually help you grow. Instead of being afraid of making mistakes, entrepreneurs learn from them and improve. This helped me understand that risk is not something to avoid, but something to manage wisely.

Week 7

This week in entrepreneurship I learned about the importance of time management when running a business. Entrepreneurs often have to balance many responsibilities at once, such as finances, marketing, and customer service. If they don't manage their time well, things can quickly fall apart. We talked about how successful entrepreneurs plan out their days and prioritize tasks based on importance. I realized that being busy is not the same as being productive. It's important to focus on what actually moves your business forward. It showed me that strong time management skills are just as important as having a good idea.

Week 6

This week I learned about branding and how it affects a business’s success. A brand is more than just a logo or name, it is the overall image and feeling people get from a company. We discussed how strong brands are consistent in their message, design, and values, and sometimes how they hide messages in their logos like Amazon or FedEx. I realized that customers are more likely to trust and support businesses that have a clear identity. Branding can also help a business stand out from competitors. Even small details like colors and tone can make a big difference. This showed me that building a strong brand is an important part of entrepreneurship.

Week 5

This week in entrepreneurship I learned about the importance of customer feedback. Businesses need to understand what their customers like and dislike in order to improve their products or services. We talked about how companies use surveys, reviews, and social media, especially comments, to gather feedback. I realized that listening to customers can help a business grow faster and avoid mistakes. It also builds trust because customers feel like their opinions matter. Sometimes the best ideas for improvement come directly from the people using the product. This showed me that entrepreneurship is not just about your vision, but also about adapting to your audience.
